In Memory of Shilpaguru Safiuddin Ahmed

Safiuddin Shilpalay marked the 104th birth anniversary of Shilpaguru Safiuddin Ahmed with a children's art workshop and exhibition, and asked Klay Art Studio to lead the clay portion of it.

Students from Marie Curie School spent the afternoon at the wheel, many for the first time. A separate session welcomed children from the Beit Alpha Autistic Foundation, working with clay in an environment built around their own pace and their own way of engaging with it.

Neither session asked the children to make anything in particular. What mattered was the material in their hands, and what they chose to do with it.
